Fantastische akoestische gitaar, prachtige vocals van Robert.
Epische teksten, misschien de beste solo ooit, inspirerend drumwerk, fantastische fluitmuziek en een perfecte structuur maken dit lied tot wat het nu is.
Ik zou het heel vreemd vinden mocht je dit lied nu echt niks voor jou vinden, en mocht het je dan ook nog slecht vinden, dan begrijp ik het helemaal niet meer.

Het lied werd in 1971 uitgebracht op de langspeelplaat "Led Zeppelin IV".
"Stairway to Heaven" is vaak gecoverd, onder andere door Metallica en de Foo Fighters.
